The LIGHT method
LIGHT · the reflection practice
Witness what happened, use MIRROR if a card helps you ask a useful question, Trace a possible connection, then Choose one conscious response. Your experience leads; the symbols are lenses you can question.
PHT supplies the timing context in B3ACON. LIGHT is how you reflect on what you actually observe. A private Field Note connects the two.
PHT · how the clock is divided
Planetary hours are not sixty-minute hours. They are twelve equal shares of daylight and twelve of night, measured from the actual sunrise and sunset at your coordinates. In June a day hour may run seventy minutes; in December, forty. The sequence of rulers does not change. The length of their breath does.
The planetary day
A planetary day begins at sunrise, not midnight. If it is two in the morning, you are still inside yesterday's night hours, under yesterday's weekday ruler. B3ACON follows that cut so Saturday's Saturn does not get stolen by a civil calendar.
Chaldean order
Successive hours follow the classical order of apparent speed: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon — then Saturn again. The first hour of each weekday is named for that day's planet. Sunday opens with the Sun, Monday with the Moon, and so on. That is why the week has seven days, and why they fall in the order they do.

What this is not
B3ACON does not predict events, prescribe medicine, or claim causal proof. Traditional correspondences are used as working hypotheses — structured guesses about what might show up in mood, attention, and social energy. You keep the ledger. If the pattern is noise, the notes will say so.
Sunrise is computed from latitude, longitude, and date (NOAA-style solar equation). Hours at polar day or polar night use a civil 06:00–18:00 stand-in and are marked as approximate.
A simple protocol
- Notice the current hour on the observatory. Do not rearrange your life for it.
- Rate energy, focus, sociability, and mood as they are, not as they ought to be.
- Witness: record what happened before explaining it.
- Mirror: optionally use a tarot card to open another question—not to predict.
- Trace: name a trigger, need, assumption, or repeating pattern.
- Choose: decide whether to continue, pause, or redirect the behavior.
- Repeat across different hours and weekdays. One planet on one afternoon is anecdote.
- Review patterns and tarot echoes by deck, then export the record and keep testing.
